Mobile Application for Recommending and Managing Cooking Recipes
Lončík, Andrej ; Šůstek, Martin (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The goal of the submitted thesis is the creation of mobile application for devices using the Android operation system. The main purpose of the application is the discovery and administration of food recipes and meal planning. The functions of the application include voice control and search by a photo or an image. This work describes the whole process of app -creation, beginning from the original idea, followed by the competition analysis, draft of the user interface, its implementation and concluding with the testing and final publication to the Google Play. In addition, the final version of the application offers the feature of creating new recipes or searching for already published ones on the internet based on the ingredients the user possesses. The ingredients can be written in, entered by the user's voice, or recognized from an uploaded image. The photo and image recognition is provided by the Firebase ML Kit Image Labeling tool. Thanks to the Google account authentization , the application is also able to save the user's content in Firebase Realtime Database. Mobile application is published on the Google Play store and is officially named Recipio .
Mobile App for Notifying about Reaching a Location
Ungrová, Klára ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a simple Android application which will be able to send notifications when entering or exiting a zone of user's interest and will overall ease the process of informing other people. Detection of entering/exiting zone is based on the principles of geofencing. SQLite database is used to save user's zones of interest (and details about them) persistently. When crossing the boundaries of a zone of interest, a user receives a notification - by clicking on it a user has the opportunity to send the message to other person. The message to be sent can be preset for every zone (both for entering and exiting). It is possible to activate/deactivate the monitoring of any zone any time. A user can display zones on the map. There is a possibility to send a trial explanatory notification for user to better understand its functionality. The foreground service which takes care of retrieving up-to-date location is running even if the app is swiped away from running applications. To kill the application, the switch off button in the app needs to be pressed. The main focus of this work is design, implementation and testing of the mobile application. The final version has been published to Google Play store.
Anonymous certificates for user authentication
Hlinka, Jan ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
Topic of this thesis is privacy protection when using anonymous certificate authentication. Today’s most common case of oversharing private data is proving Covid vaccination or Covid test results. This thesis describes and implements system that is using anonymous certficates. The system solves mentioned issues of current CovidPass authentication methods. The implementation is done on the Android platform in case of the user application and verifier application is run on Raspberry PI, which works as an access terminal.
Client-server search engine for optimal public transport routes
Brát, Daniel ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Myška, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a client-server based program for finding the optimal path in public transport networks. Theoretical basics describe the Traveling salesman problem and mention some methods for finding its solution. This chapter is followed by a theoretical design of the application itself. Next chapter describes chosen technologies to be used. The last chapter describes the realization of the application itself. Reached goals are described in the conclusion.
Rendering on "Looking Glass"
Kotáb, Dominik ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on rendering real objects from real world on stereo display called  "Looking Glass", a device from the company Looking Glass Factory Inc., whose main advantage is three-dimensional rendering. The working roots are designing and implementing a mobile application that, with the help of a user, creates a format, which can then be projected on the display. The first part of the thesis presents the basics of 3D rendering, on which the functionality of the device is based. The second part of the thesis covers the design of a mobile application for the Android operating system, which is based on the official documentation of this stereo display. The completed mobile app captures a recording of the viewed object, which can then be cropped, stabilized, and converted to the format required by the Looking Glass. The created format is correctly displayed and creates a three dimensional illusion.
Android mobile application security
Michálek, Jakub ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Oujezský, Václav (advisor)
The thesis's objectives are to introduce a computing platform for Android mobile devices and its security risks for the average user. The application that was created presents these risks on practical examples. The first part of the diploma thesis introduces the Android operating system, its architecture, version, and basic components. Security risks of this operating system are described in a second part. The following section is devoted to Android permission and the danger which can arise from their authorization. The final section of the work delves into design and implementation of the application from the programming point of view.
Security of authentication protocols
Tran, Minh ; Člupek, Vlastimil (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the security of authentication protocols. The aim of the thesis is to analyze current security threats and attacks on current card systems mainly JavaCard and Mifare. And then to create a mobile application using Android platform with NFC and HCE functions, which realises the founded attacks. These attacks are relay attack and card cloning. Mobile side of the application is written in Kotlin programming language and server side in JavaScript, EJS and CSS. In the end attacks on EMV and access system of an unnamed university are demonstrated.
Modular System for Reporting and Managing Faults in Town
Kotas, Jan ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Semerád, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is designing and creating system for reporting and managing issues in towns. The system demonstrates options how to make process of reporting and managing issues more effective thanks to the modern technologies and citizen involvement. The system consists of mobile application, web administration and application server. After getting familiar with the Android application development system, the author of this thesis conducted a research of existing solutions and also analysis of potential customers opinion. Afterwards, the system specification was created. The system was designed and consequently implemented according to the specificiation of the system. The implementation was followed by system testing on group of users who then made its evaluation.
Applications of Computers in Ultramicro Aviation
Grossová, Žaneta ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create a system for monitoring flight hours of ultralight aircrafts. First part is an embedded device that is built into the ultralight aircraft and transmits Bluetooth signal. Second part is a mobile application for Android operating system, that keeps running in the background and after connecting to this signal starts recording and processing GPS data. With the right configuration, system is able to independently recognize boarding the airplane, beginning of the flight ad it's ending. Collected data are sent on FTP server in format compatible with Excel.
